Thanks for visiting It’s a Dog’s Life For Me!

You are reading the canine chronicles of a late-twenties, very happily married woman who is the definition of middle-class. My husband and I live in Houston, TX with our two current dogs – a dachshund mix, Ms. Doxie, and purebred (allergy-ridden) Mr. Pug.

I grew up surrounded by animals (dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, snakes, and lizards), so I knew animals were going to be part of my future too.   My husband and I adopted Ms. Doxie a few weeks after our wedding.  She was our first real married-couple decision, lol.  We did well – she’s awesome!  We adopted Mr. Pug 4 years later.  I’m glad we waited because we would not have had the money for his health problems right after college.

Hubby and I were both raised by financially savvy parents who thankfully taught us the ins and outs of personal finance early on.  That led me to start Budgeting in the Fun Stuff – a personal finance blog about saving, spending, and the fun stuff along the way.

I love BFS, but reading other blogs about all kinds of topics caused me to want a site that could be about anything.  Crystal Clear Thoughts is a haven for all.  All topics, all people, etc – whatever comes to mind.

You think I may have been done, but It’s a Dog’s Life For Me is my blog for the animals that help complete our lives.  I hope we can all share our pet stories, problems, and successes all in one laid back place!
